Andrew Trembley is an experienced international evaluation and education expert. I’ve worked with governments to build strategies, NGOs to design better M&E systems, and with parents and teachers to built better classrooms. In my 15 years of work in international development, I’ve worked closely with implementers, teachers, farmers, and health workers to square theoretical designs with real needs; worked inside large international institutions to challenge assumptions and best laid plans; and helped NGOs and partner organizations improve their projects through evaluations and technical support.

As a project manager, education specialist, and statistician, I know how to ask probing questions on implementation to working to solve tough logistical and research questions. I’ve designed monitoring systems for national governments, conducted multimillion dollar evaluations, led research teams in the field, and worked with ministers to develop new strategies.

I’m always looking for new projects with novel challenges and opportunities to use data to challenge dominant ideas about international aid, or advocate for more equitable power structures in development!
